The Chevy Silverado has been around for a long time, and it’s remained near the top of the charts for pretty much that whole time. That’s because a new version of the truck has been unveiled, and soon the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV First Edition RST will be available across the country. Today we thought we’d highlight the new special edition pickup truck’s all-electric specifications and highlight some of its most exciting features.

All of these specifications are the ones that are most important to consider when shopping for an electric vehicle and a pickup truck. The EPA has yet to officially estimate the driving range of the RST model with a full charge, however it did estimate 450 miles on the 4WT trim level. The max power ratings listed here are what the truck can generate while in Wide Open Watts Mode, which is available in the RST model and enables that incredibly quick acceleration time.
The Silverado EV First Edition RSTmodel will provide DC Fast Charging capability of up to 350 kW, which when utilized allows you to get up to 100 miles with 10 minutes of charging time. You’ll also be able to take advantage of up to 10.2 kW of offboard power on the RST if you opt for some available equipment. Finally, this version of the Silverado will provide trailering of up to 10,000 pounds as well as up to 1,500 lbs. hauling in its own bed.
