When you picture legendary Chevrolet vehicles, there are a few nameplates that probably immediately pop into your mind. The Corvette, the Silverado, the Camaro, even older models like the Impala might all come to mind. But you’d be remiss not to consider the iconic Chevy Tahoe and Suburban models amongst those ranks. The Tahoe has officially been around for 30 years as of 2024, while the Suburban has been around since the 1930s, even longer than the Corvette! This year both traditional full-size SUVs have undergone a series of similar changes and enhancements as they receive mid-generation facelifts. We thought we’d highlight some of the new features, technologies and design elements that make their newest iterations such exciting prospects within their segments.
“The new faces of Tahoe and Suburban are more expressive, borrowing inspiration from the recently refreshed Chevrolet truck lineup. They remain as versatile as ever, but with a greater emphasis on the details that have driven these large SUVs to the top of their segment.”
- Phil Zak, Executive Design Director, Global Chevrolet

In addition to all of these exciting features, one of the vehicles’ powertrain options was also improved. The second-generation 3.0L I6 turbo-diesel Duramax engine is available, offering 305 horsepower alongside 495 pound-feet of torque.

There are all kinds of updated design cues and enhanced elements both on the inside and outside of the vehicle, so we’ll highlight some of the most exciting things about the vehicles’ style as well.
