2024 Chevy Malibu Trim Levels & Starting Price

Over the past few years, you might’ve noticed many brands not only introducing a plethora of new crossover utility vehicles, but also discontinuing some of their sedans. While a vast majority of customers are more interested in the modern CUV, there are still plenty of sedan lovers out there looking for a new vehicle. That’s why Chevrolet has decided to keep one of their everyday sedans on the lineup in addition to their sports cars, the Camaro and Corvette. The 2024 Chevy Malibu makes an excellent choice for those car shoppers still interested in a sedan, especially considering the roughly five decades of experience it has on the lineup. While there are plenty of different packages that add different odds and ends to the vehicle – such as the Interior Protection Package, which adds all-weather floor mats and a cargo mat for an extra $225 – there are three special edition packages that can truly level up either the 1LT or 2LT trim level. These special packages are Sport Edition, Midnight Edition and Redline Edition which are an extra $895, $895 or $1,195 respectively on the 1LT, and $495, $495 or $795 on 2LT.

Sport Edition adds black badging and bowtie emblems, a blacked-out grille with a dark chrome frame, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 19” black-painted aluminum wheels, all-season blackwall tires, LED tail lamps, a leather-wrapped shift knob and a Jet Black interior. Some of these features are standard on the 2LT trim, so they aren’t included in its Sport Edition. Midnight Edition adds the same exact things as Sport Edition plus a Mosaic Black Metallic exterior color.

Redline Edition starts off with the black bowtie emblems on both ends of the vehicle, but its black Malibu badge is upgraded with a red outline. The blacked-out grille is joined by black mirror caps. The 19” black-painted aluminum wheels feature red hash marks, but the all-season blackwall tires remain the same, as do the LED tail lamps and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Finally, the outside mirror features REdline graphics. This package is only available with a Mosaic Black Metallic, Sterling Gray Metallic or Summit White exterior.
